Description
My name is Dilsha B and I am a female home carer with a wealth of experience in providing compassionate care to individuals in need. I offer various care types, including live-in, hourly, and overnight care to cater to the unique needs of each individual.
Throughout my career, I have gained extensive experience in caring for individuals with a wide range of conditions such as mild cognitive impairment, bedbound patients, Parkinson's disease, anxiety, and depression. I am well-versed in providing assistance with daily activities such as bathing, toileting, dressing, catheter care, and most importantly, offering companionship to ensure a positive and nurturing environment.
Although I do not drive and do not own a car, my dedication to providing exceptional care remains unwavering. In my spare time, I enjoy painting, playing card games, cooking, baking, and doing puzzles. I also have a knack for decorating, which helps bring joy and a personalized touch to the living spaces of those I care for.
In addition to caring for individuals, I also have a special place in my heart for animals. I am comfortable and have experience caring for cats, dogs, fish, rabbits, and birds. My attributes of being caring, friendly, and helpful complement my desire to help individuals lead independent lives to the best of their abilities.
Ultimately, my motivation for being a caregiver stems from the satisfaction of making a positive impact on someone's life and helping them maintain their dignity and well-being. I am grateful for the opportunity to provide care and support to those in need, and I am committed to ensuring a comfortable and nurturing environment for each individual I have the privilege of caring for.
